Dr. John Pickering conducted an HPO session in early May 2002 in Provo, Utah sponsored by Dr. Bruce Brown of BYU. The session was attended by the Mayor of Provo, various local businessmen and 9 BYU graduate students participating in a new partnership between CCHPO, BYU and ProfilePlus entitled “HPO and the Business of Government.” Dr. Brown and the graduate students are also preparing for a September 2003 SIOP symposium on the same subject.
